Jan 07,  · After hearing a couple of early tracks, “Wake Up” and “We’ve Been Had” I took an avid interest in The Walkmen, bought Bows + Arrows in after reading the reviews and became a dedicated fan based on the strength of this album, possibly still my favourite of their catalogue. Here, the songwriting is stronger than the more dirge-laden alcoholic sprawl of debut Everybody Who.
